February in Cleveland is nothing short of brutal. We are talking negative temperatures, wind that will blow you over, and snow- endless amounts of snow. I am one that thrives in sunshine. So winter in Cleveland for me is not my finest moment. I find myself doing a lot of traveling to get away from the work week and pushing through to spring.

It was time for a little me time so I was lucky enough to partner up with the Hilton Cleveland and checked myself in for a little R&R. Needless to say I left feeling inspired, energized, and ready to take on the rest of winter.

My morning started off with an ear popping elevator ride to the 31st floor. I unlocked my room and was absolutely mesmerized with the floor to ceiling view of the city on one side and the lake on the other. I stayed in the ambassador's suite so the space was plenty and incredibly gorgeous. I was greeted with the some hometown treats from the Hilton team and new I was in for a good weekend!

I have to give it to the Hilton, the rooms are nothing short of breathtaking.

What to do

Drinks at Bar 32

With a full agenda planned we unpacked and got ready for a drink at Bar 32 before dinner- the Hilton's rooftop bar. I had been to the bar prior during the summer and fell in love with the views of the city.  I had yet to go during the winter so I was anxious to see if I would have a similar experience. To no surprise it was equally as incredible as my first time.

If you live in the Cleveland area or are traveling to the city this is an ABSOLUTE MUST. The view alone is worth the trip. The menu consists of small plates to share and an extensive drink menu (sold).  Check out my "Date Night at Bar 32" blog post for more on the bar and experience!

Dinner at the Burnham

For dinner we had reservations at the hotel's restaurant The Burnham. The menu was so good it was difficult choosing one entree to go with. I ended up with the steak- best decision of the weekend. This was my first time ordering steak since I gave up my vegan diet. Needless to say I am happy I waited to have that meal here. Absolutely delicious! The service was also incredibly quick and on point. I will absolutely return for dinner in the future!

Gym

IMG_5819.JPG

I have to say for a hotel gym I found everything I needed. I knew I just wanted to get some cardio in and light training. The gym offered plenty of equipment options, fresh towels, and water bottles to stay hydrated- key. I won't lie, running to the almost 360 view of Cleveland didn't hurt either.

Stay tuned for a "what's in my gym bag" vlog- super excited to be getting into video!

To sum things up the Hilton is a hot spot in Cleveland. With their stunning interior design and architecture they are not only eye catching but have the customer service to back it. From the roof top bar to the full service restaurant a room reservation is not even necessary to enjoy the hotel's luxury amenities.

I cannot rave enough about my stay and I look forward to returning many times in the future!
